however they still do their main job well: supply the mage with a lot of mana and then go to die in a blast!

but i would definetly like to se them not only as mage upgrade

I think that reducing their movement was correct, since otherwise they can flee around as last enemy unit for too few AP.

For gods sake - lets end with this running argument for everything. Maybe letc sut wolfen hunter mov to 4 becouse now he can flee faster than enything...

Running around should be considered as abuse and reported as soon as it would be implemented or simple AP check should be tested at the end of last turn... not whole game modified do retarded tiny maps, slime unit movements and others.

Another possible problem of Sparklings at the moment is that if you use them you MUST have a mage in your company or it is a waste of APs. So the Sparkling is more a mage support unit than anything else, but maybe this was the developers original idea...

Not exacly original idea - 17 points sparkling were usefull even without a mage to temporary map advantage, shirmishing mages/archers (maybe not killing them but blocking for a while) and adding 15% to attack/parry chances.

Maybe good option will be to move Devotion skill up to level 2 as a optional skill.

Regarding the Valkyria, I don't think her lvl4 ability Incarnation of Justice is so overpriced: as others already said, also if you don't face elites or legendary units in the enemy army, her presence alone is sufficient to make the enemy change his plans, avoiding a direct charge on your units. Moreover, if you use it correctly you can do 45 damage in a single turn (offensive stance 30 dam + 15 pursuit) or efficiently block all enemy elites and legendary units (that would do much more than 10 dam to a normal Valkyria). Remember that the Lion has the best long distance damage units of the game (archers and mages) and if you activate the ability when facing an Acheron puppet, then you're doing something wrong...

- As i said few times - in case RAM he will always have more activations (especialy if you have 90+ points Valkyrie in your company).
- Counting Offensive Stance to her stats is rather annoying... Same way i could say that any other assault/elite can deal up to 45+ dam... and for all this units it would be not 'one turn only - once per game'.
- You guys also forget that Valkyrie may have ATT 13, bravery and will 12 but she can Miss... mostly even without FEAR effect he have 80-90% hit chances... that makes only 64-81% for both of attacks in target... one fail and you have 100ap wasted and massacred.
Yes she can take fencer at lev 5 but its another level, bigger ap investement and still 10% for fail... Considering that she isn't scared or not faces more than one unit...

I completely agree with your second statement and, in fact, I've proposed an AP check considering also the remaining HPs in different other posts, however at the moment it has not been implemented yet, so the problem of 2-3 "flying mosquitos" around the map to avoid losing a game is present and unsolved and it would be worsened by a MOV of 6 to a flying unit. When and if they fix the Draw problem, than I also agree that the Sparklings may have an additional +1 MOV, but only after that.

Counting Offensive Stance is not "annoying", since you have to use it when you activate the ability if you want to use it at its maximum, while "any other assault/elite" of the Lion CAN NOT due 45 damage to ANY other unit in the game: you can do it to weak units but not to elites or legendary ones. Moreover the point of that skill is not to have an healthy Valkyrie at the end, but more to kill the enemy higher AP unit with your attack. So that you "sacrifice" about 100 AP to kill/hurt badly 150-250 AP of the enemy. Yes, she can miss, but if she hits she hits hard and usually you have also the enemy unit surrounded or at least engaged, since if you play Lions in 90% of the cases you are defending a couple of mages or archers so all your units are near to each other. She's ultra effective against Wolfen, she can improve the possibilities to hit of your units and slowly regen them (allowing in many case to sustain at least another attack before being killed) she can hurt all the elites/legendary units like no other unit in the game and she can guard well with a high par. Respect to many other units in the game, I find her AP value correct and I don't think she need a buff (or max another +1 on PAR).

Since DM lasts 14 turns i never have draw game in it.

You're very lucky then, since in the past weeks I got many Draws due to flying around Sparkling or even other units (especially Lions, Gargoyles and Hunters), it depends on your enemy behavior & map size and happens more often when you have a very long melee or you confront an enemy whose composition is based on 1-2 units: certain times, after I either skillfully or luckly kill the enemy main units, many players concede the match, but others scatter around all their units without even attacking anymore and then you have to pursuit each unit independently, which usually go to the four corners of the map and stay there.

This happens either if I'm using a standard company or a legendary unit based one (either Worg or Golem)

PS: I'm not playing the Golem anymore since few days in last patch, because now its APs for the lvl4 version are so low that is effectively OP and many players simply start running from the first turn and then it is 14 turns of running around...
Worg instead is more fun to play (if you don't meet a golem) if you can lvl it to at least lvl3 so that you can win about 50% of the matches against good enemy players, before it is completely a waste of AP while lvl4 I think it will get too OP like the Golem (however it will anyways always lose against it), as soon as I'll get there I'll write a feedback.

well if you use a draw units then expect a draw - i personaly always play for win/lose so i don't have this problem.

I repeat to be clear: "This happens also if I'm using a standard company"

In fact, just yesterday I got a Draw while playing a company of 2 archers, 1 Valk, 1 Knight, 3 Guard: the enemy killed first my archers, however sacrificing most off his units to do it, then he noticed that he couldn't win anymore and started to fly around with a Gargoyle for 5 turns... another time while I was playing Wolfen in the Behemoth map, another enemy chose to run to the four corners with his 4 remaining heavily wounded troops. Usually when someone flees from a battle then it should be his loss, not a Draw...

We took steps for the Deathmatch mode that could prevent this kind of behaviour.
It could take some time to hit the live servers though.

Can you confirm than most of your "running for draw" problems were in Deathmatch ?

i dont think it needs a confirmation for it. If people run away from you in the VIP mode it either means they are going for your VIP or handling you the victory. Same for dominion, if you are stuck in the case where you can't chase the other unit go for the points and gg.

As Deep Blue said, I can confirm that it happens only during DM

Thanks.
That seemed pretty obvious to me too, but it will help to make a point on our side.
