I fought the same player 3 times today in the 200 AP bracket and we both had Lion armies without ranged units for this bracket. My army was stronger than his, but the battle was going slowly (we both had Knights).
When we were fighting for the third time, he knew he had no chance of winning so he had the coward idea of running through the battlefield during the last turns of the fight looking for a draw...
Unfortunately for him, he still lost as I was able to catch him on the last turn before a draw because I had initiative and he was cornered.
The thing is... With a higher turn limit, things like that wouldn't happen... It feels ridiculous having to chase a coward throught the battlefield because he is trying to get a draw due to the short turn limit.
pre-patch there wasn't any turn limit and trust me it was even worse i had more than once the situation of reaching 25+ turns with only 2 units chasing each other (add Benny Hill show music). I have to do more testing but in the few matches i played i didnt have this issue. I find it weird that an all melee band was not able to finish it before the 10 turn as usually this is more classical of bunker strategies.
a way to improve the system would be that at the end of the match you calculate the remaining AP vs enemy remaining AP and establish a winner.
