I Must check this because it looks really promising. When do they changed that ?

it was like this since closed at least :) the problem is there is no way to read the ambidextrous tool tip in game. is like a secret between closed beta player when it was a selectable skill.

Hey we actually thought about that!

Lion needs a small revamp, yeah.

Lol, good to see the devs are taking Lion in the right direction.

I'm not really good in lions (as I hate them) but I like the fact that each unit can have several usages.

In WoW to take the most common example, a tank does only that : tanking. I know it is useful for the company but i like to think DoW units have a deeper personnality.

For example, using the Valk as a small healer then as a relative kicker is much more interesting for me than only a tank or only a caster.

Bringing no solution either, sorry.

the only buff i would give to the sparks is making the sacrifice ability dealing a flat 8 damage wound.

... and maybe new more aggressive textures? :P

+1 Mov or lowered cost is must have
+1 Par would be nice.

they need to provide strong tactical advatage as long they are not able to kill alone no healthy unit... even a mage without a mana or cheapest archer. Let them be at least one turn 'teleport blocker' (mov 6) or hold a lone skeleton for some time (par)

also current devotion are double pain when they sacrifice more than twice more HP than skeletons. IMO Martyr/Devotion should deal flat damage no matter the TOU like in original game.

I don't usually play Lion, but today I've played a lot of matches against another good Lion player who used 3 Sparkling with a lvl5 mages in a very efficient way (12 mana per turn discharged on my poor units). They are not anymore the super-healers that they were before, however they still do their main job well: supply the mage with a lot of mana and then go to die in a blast!
I think that reducing their movement was correct, since otherwise they can flee around as last enemy unit for too few AP. Their cost may be reduced of a few points and I like the idea to make the suicide ability stronger, since at the moment you have no incentives to lvl up a Sparkling.
Another possible problem of Sparklings at the moment is that if you use them you MUST have a mage in your company or it is a waste of APs. So the Sparkling is more a mage support unit than anything else, but maybe this was the developers original idea...

Regarding the Valkyria, I don't think her lvl4 ability Incarnation of Justice is so overpriced: as others already said, also if you don't face elites or legendary units in the enemy army, her presence alone is sufficient to make the enemy change his plans, avoiding a direct charge on your units. Moreover, if you use it correctly you can do 45 damage in a single turn (offensive stance 30 dam + 15 pursuit) or efficiently block all enemy elites and legendary units (that would do much more than 10 dam to a normal Valkyria). Remember that the Lion has the best long distance damage units of the game (archers and mages) and if you activate the ability when facing an Acheron puppet, then you're doing something wrong...
