Give the Buffs to the Spark, make Valk dmg/tanky

Hey just a small idea.

Since the spark is dead how about reviving it with the ability to give favourable auspices and/or heal. Make it a full support unit with high DOD instead of just a unit with DOD and the ability to kill itself.

So now that would free up the valk to be what the lion doesnt have, a melee dmg dealer (ram have SW and wolfen have that isane pred). Yes we have lion of war but thats just a crappy gargoyle. Get rid of all the wisdom (12 i think she has) and put some TOU and DAM (8 i think lol). Keep Incarnation of justice if you want but that should be a lion of war skill (since the dmg it receives is always huge a spell to limit that would be nice).

Oh and please dedicate some time to make chimera viable while your at it. (before she reaches lvl 4 she is just woeful)

im not exacly into this suggestion but making alternate Valkyrie build much more melee would be nice.

But still i would prefer option to add Valkyrie Martial Inspiration - option to be casted on Swordsmans (along with Deep Blue suggestion to add Counteratack to swordsmans at lev 3 + option to upgrade it to Ambidex in same way as for Valkyrie - with Martial Inspiration miracle)

yeah the issue with the valk is that no one explores the other tree based on counterattack. It is really a valid tree imo but if it would give ambidextrous to all swordmen who have counterattack it might be pretty nice and valid.

Luckly counterattack can be easily played around + must be activated so i dont think it will be too OP. This would make the valkyrie how you want:

-tanky (because melees are afraid to hit it)
- damage dealer (because it can hit a wolven 3x times if its attacks it)

possible only Vs Fang... + maybe for castes but its still realy nice option
but this needs cheaper sparks to add her additional 15-45% counteratack chance ;)

ambidextrous generates a counterattack always, regardless of the parry (+ it gives her the normal PAR). This is why swordmen might become interesting as they will be sort of fang warriors but reversed.

its another time when im in work and can't check but i was convinced that ambidex simply reduce -2 PAR penalty from counteratack.
I didn't use counterattack from 0.10 so i may be wrong.

nope it is very strong actually...it does not remove only the penalty but also always guarantee it to proc

Hey we actually thought about that! :lol:

Lion needs a small revamp, yeah.
But we did not find the exact way we want for that. There are some very interesting suggestions popping here and there though ;)
And... small pace for gameplay balance changes, so it might take some time now.

Well, since before you ever came in the game, I think. Ambidextrous is really overlooked, as well as counter-attack.
But I think it's a general presentation problem on our side. And the "respec" problem doesn't help either.
