but some time doing this is also a strategy when i see that enemy want to use turtle strategy and he want wait when i come to him i starting to slow my move to full time and wait for moment when hi is so frustratet that he will start atack especialy when y have less units but y can skip turn at last 2-3sek and y can extend the duration of first turn to almost half of normal game, and when he break his line im start fast atack that make my almost always win after 15-20min of ostensible trolling ;)

well to me it would seem a very lame strategy as you are trolling the other player on purpose. You dont want to move and rather wait for him? then just pass the activation. It takes 1 second and you are not trolling him + you get what you want. Im pretty sure that unless the other player wants a draw he will do something. At least both of you won't waste 1 hour of your life for a draw.

Well part of what I was talking about was a player complaining the whole game about the way you play, while they are playing the very same way.

Both armies were built to turtle, so I suggested we call it a draw. Instead he wants to verbally harass me for an hour because I won't play into his strategy. Its the double standard and then for them to act that way that does not leave a pleasant taste in my mouth.

He would then intentionally drag his timer to the end before passing, while complaining that I was the one making the game drag on. I immediately would in my turns within the first few seconds.
I see this behavior as childish and immature.

The more players there are the more of this there will potentially be.

I play a defensive strategy (I prefer this over Turtle) and have obviously come up against other players who do the same. The games can get quite boring and since I prefer to have fun, if I can tell that they aren't going to make a move, I go into my forward moving defensive strategy. All you do is find a spot close to his defensive location that would give you an advantage and slow work your way there. I play RAM, so slow moving is the key, never separate your units too much (no need to run to each units max to get there). Just keep your units in a good position and slowly work your way to the new spot. It can sometime draw the person out (why you move slowly so the defensive line stays pretty much intact) or if they don't, you get to move to a better spot, where your mages and/or archers can get him.

If you really like your spot and he likes his, just grab a beer or a smoke, turn on the tv and wait. This is war, waiting is a strategy as well (albeit, not always a fun one, but you have to determine how you weight out fun versus victory).

but on this strategy you try to engage enemy on turtle formation and i think its ok ;) but when enemy wait untill i come to him why i cant do the same with some kind of trolling

Note to self: Leave in pregame screen if I'm playing Jormungandooo.

I play a defensive strategy and obviously come up against many others who do as well. It does become a stand off of who wants to make the first move, but doing the above on purpose is just wrong. Sometimes it might seem like I do that, but what really happens if I wait the whole turn to do nothing, is that I looked at everything I could do with all of my units, probably even looked at where your units could go, and then decided that not doing anything was the best option. But just sitting there, knowing you aren't going to do anything and not pressing space bar - it's just wrong. If this was real war and your life was on the line, yes anything to get an advantage, but this is a game that is supposed to be fun - and that is not a fun strategy.

People who justify this strategy as a way of winning are in this game for the wrong reason (and probably drive around in giant trucks wearing small shoes). IMHO.
