Will there be purchasable resets for companies and/or units?

PostSat Mar 01, 2014 5:49 am

To my dismay, I spent about 200 cyans on a fully leveled undead company that completely sucks. My necromancers can't respite undead because I chose Recovery, and my skeleton archers don't have fierce. So do I just throw this company away and write it off as a loss? Or will there be the option to purchase unit resets so I can re-level them again in the future?

Wait before deleting that company!

The devs said elsewhere that they plan to implement a reset item or something similar in the future and also after next patch (due probably next week) many of your units may be able to reset completely their abilities if the devs have changed them or their AP value!

i add also that even though you have ability to level your units you are not supposed to do that. Right now the meta favors cheap units rather than high level ones (other than casters). My suggestion is, wait for the next patch that will probably reset all your units. Also get some information before putting the talents...

yeah, lack of reset feature is just awful when AP count is so important. A couple of miscalculations can leave you playing every game with 50 point deficit...not exactly a great way to entice players in.

Definitely this, I try to build my teams to maximize every amount of AP possible, so my 400 AP team uses 390 to 400 AP depending.

I initially didn't know that some levels give you extra bonuses for leveling up (mana increase, faith point pool increase), and went over for one of my teams x_x

I agree. It would increase the possibilities for experimentation, which in return would increase the fun of this game, ultimately leading to more players who would enjoy it.

I also think having the ability to rest skills would help a great deal. It allows you to experiment with different compositions, which in turn allows for more diversified competition. Right now there are very few deviations within the factions, especially wolves and lions. All of this is not entirely because there is no reset feature, but it is a strong contributing factor at the moment. What if there could be more units in a company? Just another suggestion.
