Injury is a random chance or depends on the unit that killed the to be injured troop. The wolfen i mention had 4 units with 2 injuries each on lvl 7 match making on around 300-360 AP

The longer i thing about that im more shure that wounds would be realy great if they could modify the unit AP cost.

Positive wound (like DB dmg wound for necro lowering cos by 1-2ap) would make owner even more aware about life of his pupil - becouse more unlycky wound or death would force him to entirely heal this necromancer ;)

and beide that - all warbands would b much more personal and real with veterans sufering many different 'traumas' ;)

i thought of that too but it might happen a situation like this: all "hardcore" players will try to get injured on purpose (ie: via questing) in order to get useless injuries and reduce their AP. If i've a necromancer level 5 no injuries beside the one to WILL and maybe DODGE will matter to me --> this will lead to a russian roulette until all my units have the injuries they need for me to reduce the AP and thus having an advantage over other players. I think this is NOT fun : on one hand you get grouped with one player abusing the AP system and on the other you will have to wait until you have the optimal injuries (feels like grinding in a MMORPG for the epic drops...).

the only thing that really bothers me about injuries is that they might happen even when you win (but one of your units died): i find that very unfair that i get punished after winning....

I think I wrote about that already in a very old thread, but there are chances that many of you didn't read it, so you deserve another go: what Deep Blue said in the first part of his answer is the exact reason why we won't change the AP of a wounded unit.

There is a lot of space in this game to maximize your AP / efficiency.
Sometimes, we even feel that there is too much space for that.
We really don't need a system that will push players to get to situations where a lvl 5 Necro with 0 ACC and 0 DAM will cost a total AP cost of 10. The end result is will not be fun at all for opponents, and the way to get there will not be fun for the player.

We did try, however, to offer some sort of counterpart to the players that were interested in stat tweaking (with some items). So we are still thinking of other ways to offer you some stuff going in this direction.
Sadly, our system seemed unpopular at the time (and most of the time, misunderstood), and it is the reason why it's in our list of things to rework. So it may not come back for a while.

So lets add something lke that

4'th (+/-1) wound - kills and probvlem solved
After you lucky maxed such necro - he will be first target for every loosing player that woluld blame him ;) (its why i see possible wounds for winning player also - quite fair).

and lets face the fact that mages alachan or necro are currently definetly to cheap on 5th lev (necro looks to cheap even on lev 1 in some situations, while lev 1 alachan could be even 10 poins cheaper - but its different discusion)

i forgot to mention that all my proposuition assumes changing fate cart to remove ALL negative conditions at once.
