In fact, it was the case for a long time in the alpha and closed beta phases of the game.
And it was the main intention about injuries.
But many players complained about this... a lot, really. And also some people from the team.
The fact is, since we were not sharing the Blood Bowl management system (separate treasury mostly, apothecary too), it was inadequate, and we had to make some changes (though I personnaly prefered my injuries permanent, and impossible to heal ).
Anyway - we are still not content with the current state of injuries.
We are working on an elegant solution for this that already went through some iterations, but it needs more work.
It will take quite some time to be fixed properly.
