Purchasable Upggrade Item

I know you can purchase Units already upgraded to a certain level. But what I'm talking about here is an item to upgrade a specific unit by one level.

Case in point. I bought a Priest of Salauel. I have tried to upgrade him to get the goodies he has available at higher levels, but he just sucks so much at level 1 and 2 that I haven't been able to really use him. I know I could just buy a level 3 or 4 one in the store, but I already have one, and I don't want to waste the money I spent on him. This is why I think it is valuable to be able to have an item that I can purchase to upgrade this guy.

Just my thoughts.

we speak about this 1day quest (+100XP) that actualy only elite unit can do this, if this quest will be change to something like y say it will be OK cause y will have option to lvl-up all units

I was more talking about an item you would purchase in the store that would upgrade a unit one level. You would most likely buy it with Cyans but a lot of Ducats would be nice as well.

I think the priest is actually ok with inversion on lvl2, but he is still fragile like hell. I too find him hard to level, since he is usually the unit the dies first, even if I restrain myself to use him only after the first engagements. Since he is just providing support with utility spells until he hits lvl 5, his use is very limited.

You can be still resourceful with him thanks ot inversion, but since he doesn't fight that much, his XP-gain is lower than your average unit, due to his short lifespan and his lacking damage potential.

I never even got him to level 2 and I've stopped trying. It's not worth making room for him and losing over and over just to try and level him. We'll see, maybe with the chances, I'll have some free space and he might be worth it. Right now, he's just not worth the effort in leveling.

the idea is nice but...unfeasible i fear. This would mean having different items for each level (levelling to 2 or to 5 is a BIG difference)...and allowing lvl 1 units to be bough only via ducats is very good for them as it allows a distinction between players who want to level their units or those who doesn't and use the shop.

The priest is a particular case. I bought it lvl 5 with cyans as i could not bear the levelling experience and i recognize how terrible it is to level it. For instance a mage /necro/lonewolf lvl 2-3 is still useful and you can play some games with it even if under your desired level. Priest is totally different as you have to wait at least lvl 4 to make it useful. I've no idea why they removed unavoidable destiny from closed...that skill was perfect as lvl 2
