Update : Due to a major bug we are forced to postponed the open beta. We're doing our best to open next week.
Hello everyone, we're very happy to announce that we'll be moving on to open beta on thursday january 30th, at 10 AM Pacific Time.
To celebrate this, we'll be giving 15% Bonus Ducats from thursay 10 AM (Pacific Time) until sunday 3PM.
The open beta brings 3 major updates and several smaller tweaks, I'll tell you all about it.
First of all, from now on everyone with a Steam account can join and play the game. Finally you'll be able to invite your friends and hopefully challenge tons of new players.
Then, it will be possible to purchase Cyans with "real" money in the shop (prices ranging from $1.99 for 20 Cyans to $52.99 for 600 Cyans)
The last thing is that all the existing accounts will be reset and we will give two rewards to the closed beta players, to thank them for their help : for all closed beta players, we'll unlock the third company slot, for free, and for the most active players, we'll add 50 Cyans on their accounts.
This reset will be the last one. Once the open beta starts you'll keep everything you get or buy in the game.
In addition to this changes, we tweaked a few things :
- Destiny cards have been renamed Healing cards and the number of cards required to heal a wound will now depends on the AP and level of the wounded unit. We did this to adjust the cost of healing to the initial price and overall usefulness of the unit. Following this, we changed the price of Healing Cards : 1 card costs 1 Cyan or 100 Ducats, a 50 cards pack costs 20 Cyans
- We withdrew a few things from the shop : Barracks, Ducats and Experience Bonus as well as some colors. Most of those should return at some point into the shop but we want to see how the game works without them before settling on the prices/effect/duration combinations.
- Also in the shop, you can no longer purchase leveled up units in Ducats, only in Cyans. You can buy the units with Ducat at level 1 and then you have to get the XP on the battle field. Using Cyans allow you to go faster.
- We added a profil page where you can see various information about yourself
- And finally, we increased the Ducats rewards from battles as well as the experience rewards for defeat or draw.
