Steam says January 29th. Is it true?

We are currently discussing what will be wiped, so we can't answer exactly right now. But we will do everything we can to never need another wipe in the future

so anything in open beta goes stright to final game?

We will not stop patching,when we talk about wipes we are only talking about your accounts informations (units, stats, inventory, money). Whatever we wipe from those data during the next week, we will not wipe again in the future (unless an horrible thing happen).
Patching the mechanics of the game is a whole different matter.

wipe whatever you want but do not wipe the extra company slot that i bought with the cyans or i will cry

I second the wipe all idea, it's better when all new players come to don't face in their first game a legandary unit or see the ranking already filled of old team with tons of point.
