Confirmation email has been sent

Just received my key, activated on steam, and opened it. First time, ask for email and password for account creation, but under this 2 boxes, directlly appears the message.

"Confirmation email has been sent #email#"

This stops me confused, and looked in my emails to see for something. After a short time, I entered a password and my games email, and then, messsage changed correctly to.

"Confirmation email has been sent 'mygamesemail@domain.com'"
