Allied units Immune to fear

i played golem Vs Worg yesterday - fear immune won't work against golems special order - that makes scaring Worg and whole his pack quite possible ;)

but on the other hand golem is only answer to Chimera right now - yesterday i first time managed to win against first player in rank (now he is second - but with force-leave penalty instead loss // it was so fun after he "gg" me at start of the match convinced that he already won vs non chimera+sparks+archers composition) only thx to golem that stayed alive after 4 celestial scourges :P

Ok after more games playings all 3 factions.

Heroes : lion

_Chimera is the strongest,can kill almost any unit with a 6 range spell and combine with sparks she wont die.
_Silienne : She is quite good,exept on the archeron map,she is prolly the best counter to the golem/worg
_Arïnius (royal guard) : I like this guy a lot.He can tank,control and give a big edge to start first.

Ram :
_Golem being the golem,he is strong.
_Melmoth, Skûll Warrior : Im not sure but i feel he is decent if not a bit weak compare to the other heroes.
_Kaïn, the Scourge : He is ok but the fact that he is better with other black pala is a weakness in the current game mode.

Wolfmen :
_Kelrys, Son of Ylli : Cant say,did not play him,played against just once.
_Emerok, Guardian of the Runes : Sooooo annoying to play against,good buffs,good stats.
_Ryskar, Predator of Blood : Really good overall,one of the best for me.
If im not wrong his predator chains is bugged and heal him for any unit in mele dying even if he is not the killer.

Units :
lion : _Sparks -> nerf this shit.
_Swordman : Needed a buff 4 patchs ago,still need it.

Ram :_skeleton : 19 ap is too cheap.The 40 ap one cost too much for his poor stats (ok he has hard boil but plz,7 par/7dodge/6acc is a joke)

Wolfmen : Guardien of the grave : Holy moly,this guy.The 107 ap one is so tanky it's ridiculous.

I see, still i haven't seen a golem party use that order. Maybe i haven't gone up against the good lion players but i have been beating the snot out of Chimera's with Emerok. Got a few people exclaim about how Wolfen are broken because of it. ^^';;

I agree that Emerok can be annoying having both direct damage and wound immunity but still IMO Chimera should kill him anytime - only Golem is resilient enough to stay alive long enough to win game by gathering 7 elixirs ;)

The opponents that have been giving me a hard time today are swarm Melmoth lead armies. My setup just doesn't seem to hold out against them. I don't think relying on Mortal insolence is going to work since either killed outright procs, commanding shout throws two of em to make sure the Mortal Insolence user dies Melmoth comes crashing through. Not sure what changes i will make to create a army better suited for him though. Maybe more ranged damage....

DSL, j'ecris en francais, car je suis fatigué et pas envie de me prendre la tête a ecrire en Anglais ce soir.
Comme dis plus haut, Il y a un probleme sur les tué net. Dans le jeu de figurine, l'idée etait interessante, sachant qu'il y avait BEAUCOUP PLUS de moyen de se proteger des coups:
-Les dés/actions en defense a repartir
-La contremagie et/ou l'absorbtion de sort.
-la censure sur les miracles
-les objets magique générique donnant des bonus contre les sorts/miracles/tirs ou bonus de defense simple
-certaines armées avaient des moyens a elles pour se prémunir des tué net
etc...

Donc, oui il y avait 1 chance sur 36 de se faire tué quelque soit la figurine qui frappait, mais vue qu'on prenait moins de coup, c'etait beaucoup, beaucoup moins dérangeant.

Les Heros:
Alors les heros c'est une bonne idée en soit, mais beaucoup trop proche de confrontation de base que de dogs of war. Pour rappel, le principe de dogs of war est que l'on avait un chef de compagnie, qui etait une figurine choisi parmis des troupes non-personnage, et qui prenait comme SEUL BOOST le fait de devenir personnage et donc pouvoir porter des objets magiques (et ca, ca changeait tout). Cependant, je pinaille comme un batard, je pense que le systeme de heros est tout de même mieux que l'ancien système.

SAUF QUE: Très clairement trop mal équilibré entre eux. J'ai déjà dis dans un autre post, mais je répète, les héros Lions sont beaucoup trop fort, même si la chimère est encore plus forte que les 2 autres (conscience en zone... serieux les gars!!!). Les ordres des Lions sont largement au dessus des autres (faveur divine: +10 partout sauf degats.... mais re-serieux quoi....), leurs différentes capacité les rendent efficaces dans toute situation (meme celui de CaC, tellement il est increvable).

Sur l'equilibre des troupes, le jeu a Nombre+distance est beaucoup trop favorisé, il serait de bon alois de baisser l'efficacité des archers, Lion et mort vivant, ceux ci sont trop efficace pour des armées censé être MAUVAISE SUR LES TIRS!!! Parce que vue leurs efficacité pour leurs prix, si les Griffons, les elfes, ou encore pire les ophidiens sortent un jours, vue qu'ils sont censé etre bien meilleurs sur cet aspect la, ca risque d'etre n'importe quoi.

Bon, je suis tout de même le premier a reconnaitre que vous avez fait un super boulot, et si vous arrivez a équilibré tout ca, ca sera simplement PARFAIT! Sauf bien evidemment sur le nombre d'armée, mais franchement prenez votre temps la dessus, c'est mieux pour tout le monde.

Played some more games against legendary heroes and I have to agree with the general consensus - of all of them the Chimera is just horrible to go up against, the ranged kill combined with melee is too much. I get that the chimera is supposed to be tough but the player should pay for this. The cost should definately be highier if no reduction in power.

And not wanting to just re-iterate what others have said about the random spawning elixirs, some games it seems your opponent gets all the luck. A bit less random would be better, rotating zones would give players the ability to stratergise to move their units into position to claim it next turn and creates an element of board control.
