Summoned units can score elixir point but they don't count for domination points (We're still considering this and it might change before the release).

sounds ok - as long puppets won't run far with captured elixirs... and they also quite fragile.

about controlling domination areas - its enough when summons can block free hexes - they are usefull even when they don't generate 'unit presence'.

but i would still vote for ending activation at elixir pickup for all units :P
its enough for fast units that they can cover bigger part of map - running away 5+ hexes with elixir point is overkill imo.

Even though the Wolfen tends to be faster, as a whole, than other faction, every faction will gave at least one unit with a movement of 7 (able to match the fastest of the Wolfen) and capable of ignoring difficult ground, while Wolfen won't have any 7 mov unit capable with this ability.

But I want to add something slightly more general. Of course, we tested and we balanced the units as well as we could, but there's nothing like real players, taking the game in their hands and just doing their best at finding the most efficient builds and exploiting all the edges they can find.

When the patch will be released, hopefully we'll have spotted and corrected most (if not all) of the bugs, and there won't be any major issue with balancing. BUT the real gameplay/balancing works starts there, we'll be expecting you to provide us with tons of feedback on what's happening in the games and we'll do our best to react quickly. That's what a beta should be about in fact, it's just that for Dogs Of War it turned out that there were many changes to make beside the gameplay.

current factions will have such unit but further ones?

ill wait to see the new meta but for now im convinced that ending activation after gathering an orb would be better for further factions diversity.

I really hope you will consider to make heroes immune to lucky one shots.

+1

So Hunters aren't going to have access to mobile in any of their troop profiles? Does that mean they are going to be a bit less weak in close combat?

Oh question. Does Fierce override Instant death?

No way - Fierce is fierce - and instand death is instant death -40hp or 0hp... and fierce unit is over 0 hp ;)

btw - better question is how fierce + capturing Elixir orb will work ;)

Sure but Fierce is supposed to save a unit from a blow that would have killed it. edit: So having looked at the description for Fierce in game, it would depend on if an instant death effect would count as the unit's hp being reduced to 0 or not.

there is no limitation on the number of troops of the same type that you can have in your company.

This is bad imo.

Just to clarify : there's no limitation on the number of troops of the same type in a company BUT you cannot send more than 10 of the same type to battle. We did this so that you can have a large company with all the units from one faction that you'd like to use.

So can I have 10 necromancers in play? 2 Skeletons each -> 20 skeletons around exploding and recreating it would be a nice view :D

No you cannot, because that would bring you over the 500 AP limit. A champion is worth 200, so that leaves 300 for the troops, the tier 1 necromancer costs 45 AP (less than the other 2), so you could have 6 necromancers and 1 skeleton bowman (cost 30 AP, you could have 10 of those if you want).

Now I'm even more curious to try the game! :)
