As few as I know, the only remaining victory condition in our latest test is "elixir" owning.
Killing enemy hero provides some of them. Plus troops can't use orders without their commander.

Im happy to see that - and propably i won't be alone in that happiness ;)

Hero are not about "company" but about faction.
If you create 2 lion companies, they can use same heroes. All heroes available for lion faction.
Not for now, but later, some neutral heroes may be added. These heroes don't belong to any faction (or, better, they belong to neutral factions), and can be used with every factions.
The adjustment screen is updated to display available heroes, and you select it just like units.

ok now i understand - especialy if you want to add mercenary heroes

but this is both commonly implenmented in battle games ...
and commonly banned from tournements quite soon after that ;)

There are also whole games built around it. It really comes down to how balanced the Hero's are.

I like the fact that they have listened and rejigged the win conditions

After noticing all those in Melmoth i had a quick look through liverne incase i missed them and i did notice two typos, so not as bad that time.

I think it might be better balanced (and possibly more true to the lore?) to limit the 3% instant kill range to the small range (the green hexagon). That would allow for a risk vs. reward for the hero unit, if she comes that close she is in danger but if she is further away no instant kill chance.

**Its hard to hit Skeletons in the heart close up, not to mention far away :lol:

Maybe if they gave Silienne the same instant kill chance as Melmoth or higher that limit might be balanced in my opinion, Or maybe a bigger crit chance than currently shown. It's a big risk for a small chance of reward though.
