Napalm team

Hi all,

I create a new post as it is not a company about mobility (in fact, the exact opposite).

Before buying a priest (I don't like his face), I was wondering if this could work :

- 1 Nuke necro - lvl5 - respite/mastery/wave/focus
- 1 Nuke priest - lvl5 - inversion/exalted/spiritual/enlight
- 3 warriors - lvl3 - HB/martyr
- 1 archer - lvl1 - "the bait"

399 AP

I think it is weak against archers, but with the necro as healer, maybe it could work ?

the archer could be replace by conscience for both caster (but we also loose the +3 damage) but as I don't find that much cover against a bloody lion archer I will maybe not choose this option.

I'm asking to share but also to save my money as the reset button still not exist :'(.

Thanks, regards, my entire love, dedicated life, sending a lot of smacks...

the priest really needs that +3 damage as you can oneshot reliably once you have it. Unfortunately you need to have a sideboard or else you will auto-lose vs golem unless you have some luck. I really think the game right now pushes you to have multiple units and change them depending on your opponent.

thanks for the answer.

The last point about switching : i will try to do it but, how do you know you will face a golem ? except by the name of the player.

I think this could be interesting to tell you how much units are in the company you will meet because i just lose a game against a lion with 5 archers, 1 valk and 3 swordsmen. Quite boring, what could you do against that in a field where there is no cover ?

I would have bought a tons of skel and necros :) if i knew I will face 10 guys...

how do i know i will face a golem? simple...i dont know :)

In the army i posted, the archers are really cool because you can swap fierce for ferocious without changing your original army setup or tactic. In case they do not have the golem, i stil have units that perform well vs undead (ie: gargoyle to take down the necro or taunt from the skull to win the HB skeleton war :) )

Your aim is to find a way to change your warband (but not too much) so that it can gain the most benefits vs any opponent. Maybe vs ram i would use 2x archers with ferocious and swap the necro with something else (pala? gargoyle? ).

The army you just faced is quite hard for you. I remember i faced something very similar more than once but at that time i was able to play 6 wolven and once you engaged them there is an embarassing slaughter. Probably your best shot would have been to play an attrition war by sending puppets and getting mana. The priest can also hit and run...spiritual aggression + transfer behind a wall.
