Re-spec with the patch, but only played yesterday.

How to kit it out now? Anyone tried it so far?

i tried it in closed but if you are thinking about talents only...hardboiled, mobile and rapidity are the best ones. The rest is mostly rubbish and not worth it. Maybe Swipe if you have spare AP.

Scourge:Living not worth it? My Skull Warrior and Paladin have it - really helps (though Golem has huge damage anyway).

exactly this, golem can bi-shot all melee units minus the legendaries so it is really wasted the extra damage

but you may want to kill off wounded unit by something else than golem. With golem STR many units should have HP low enough that regular units can try to finish them of :P

yeah this is a good point but as always it comes down to your army composition and style. Personally i do not like it as rapidity is simply too awesome for the golem.

When playing with the Golem, usually you "solo" the enemy army with it, while most of your other units stay far away to avoid Draw matches (e.g.,kill all the grunts and then run around the map for 10 turns avoiding the big beast). So at the moment the best skills for a Golem lvl 2-3-4 are hard boiled, mobile and rapidity, since they allow to compensate the only weakness of the Golem: its slow movement. Hurting more is pretty useless: it can kill anyways more or less anything in 2 attacks.

Lvl 5 skill Furry of Blows is nice, however you must be cautious since the extra AP may be a problem.
