Unit Identification on Sight

We've all been in that situation when we enter a battle and we have to click through an entire army to get an idea of what units he's running. Wouldn't it be cool if we could simply look at his army and figure out what his playstyle was through that?
A few quick examples would be the tier 2 Fang Warrior. He's the tanky member of the Fang Warriors, so why not switch out his dual blades for something a bit more practical on the defensive side? Like maybe some leather armor, a shield of some sort and some sort of variation on his usual blade. Another great example would be the tier 1 and 2 grave guardians. The tier 1 has scourge of the graves and he deals more damage than the tier 2. He could have a double headed scythe and maybe a necklace of skulls around his neck. The tier 2 is extremely tanky, so why not fashion him armor made of the bones of his enemies? Maybe give him dual shields taken from fallen dark paladins and have them turned into weapons for attack rather than defence?
In case you haven't noticed yet, all these examples are wolfen. I'm a Wolfen player, so these guys hit a little closer to home. However, there are other units who aren't Wolfen that could use the same makeover. a really quick and simple one could be the swordsmen. They come in all shapes and sizes, but the tier 2 deals the most damage of his fellows, so maybe toss him a greatsword. The tier 3 deals terrible damage, but has very good parry. Why not give him a spear and/or a larger shield?
I completely realize that this is not the first thing on the dev's mind, but I think that sometime in the future, maybe once they get the next race out and balanced what they can, (in terms of units and their abilities), and made sure that every unit is in some way viable in an army, then they can start to look at the looks of each individual tier of unit. Who knows? Maybe they could sketch and work on it on the side if they get burned out on something else.
Just a suggestion ...
