Sharpshooter bug?

So i just had my first match after getting my Bowman of Alahan to lvl 2 where i picked sharpshooter. The map was behemoth and my opponent was a Wolf player.
So the bug i experienced was that in one case my archer showed 1% chance of hitting his target which was a wolf warrior, with the sharpshooter ability my math says that the percentage chance of hitting should be higher than 1%. However the archer actually struck his target and later did so on other occasions 2 times with 10% chance and one time with 25% chance all in one match.
So does the archer actually have a higher chance of hitting? Or was i just EXTREMELY lucky? And if it does then it would be because the sharpshooter trait isn't taking into account when writing the % chance. Should be easy to add if the calculation when actually attacking is already correct.
