what's the difference from damage roll and injury?

what is the difference from a damage roll of 6 (for example) and a injury force 6 (example)?

nothing. its just different wording.

unless you're talking about the damage from martyr and such. in that case, i'm not sure. it may simply be lose 6 hp, or it may be a power 6 damage roll.

unfortunatly Martyr/Devotion is regular DAM roll

why unfortunately? means hardboiled skellies take only 3 damage :p

its simple DAM roll so TOU is also included

back in C3 Devotion/Martyr damage was always aplied at TOU 0

i add that skills such hardboiled reduce the damage of martyr so, yeah.

what you mean with back in C3?
i don't understand, spell and miracle in dowo take consideration of toughness of target or not?

C3 = Confrontation 3
Confrontation is the board game / tabletop game on which DoWO is based off.

In confrontation it was a good tactic to field some morbid puppets with martyr who acted as mana-reserve for your caster and even could shield him from enemy troops. Those puppets were then targeted by a STR 6 die roll vs TOU 0 - which usually ended in death or at least some wounds.

In DoWO you make a STR 6 roll vs any initial toughness of the targeted unit + hard boiled (in case of pimped skeleton warriors) - which results in a far less dramatic development of things.
