Confirmation recieved ... BUT

Hi there guys ,

have searched for this on your Technical page however i have not been able to find anything relating to it.

So i got my email from you guys saying :

Your account is now activated and you can now play to Dogs of War Online.
Have fun !

However when i try login , it does nothing what so ever (put in my email address and password - Click Connect) . Also there was no validation link for me to click on .. the email just said the above .. so i am a little confused. AM i doing something wrong?

Please help?

I'm having exactly the same problem. Searched everywhere and found no answers. Frustrating as hell.
Someone must be able to shed some light on this??

Can only hope!! Because all I want to do is hop in and get dirty!! 8-)

I just recieved the following error :-

(2003, "Cant connect to MySQL server on 'ns396416.ohv.net'(1)")

also a few other errors that followed this ...

something about the same account name exists .. lockout or something ...

Okay , i have worked out what the issue is ... and how to resolve it. However some might not like what i am about to suggest and its also annoying to me as well because now i can not use my first account.

SOLUTION (FOLLOW IN ORDER)

1. Login to DOW
2. Create a new account (Make another email address and put the new one in there with a new password)(ONLY CLICK ONCE)
3. Click submit and stay logged in and DO NOTHING.
4. Wait for email to come through to your account.
5. Click on email to validate!!
6. When validating your account should login.


AND PRESTO YOU CAN NOW PLAY!!!

To the Dev's out there ... I still have no idea how my initial account was 'corrupted' to use a better word. However with the first account being validated i can not log in with it ... However the second account i create i am able to ...

Any solutions on that?

Hi,

our mail servers are still very busy.
The email you received "account activated" is an error. Your account is not activated while you don't click the activation link on corresponding email.
Please just ignore that mail and ask for another activation key. to get the correct mail and key.

Hi everyone,

our activation server had some trouble today.
Most of your accounts are jut not activated, and the generated key is no more valid on our side.
You should reconnect, using the first email you set (one with which you created the account) and valid the email to receive the correct key and activate your account.
The email you will give and receives the activation url will be used as contact email and login for next connection.

Please report if you have any problem after that.
