First off, I'll say I'm very impressed that DoW is this complex even in closed beta. I found the Army affiliation/Faction very interesting. I really like how different units can counter others. The diversity of abilities, units, attributes really brings about a lot of strategy and different team compositions. The fighting mechanisms, with parrying, riposte, dodge and charge, its almost like you guys took the best of many strategy games and put it all into one nice package. Game has a lot of potential, especially since its still in closed beta.

An issue I have with AP matchmaking is that people really don't know what AP to aim for, there's such a large range of team comps, jumping into matchmaking is feeling like a small fish in a big pond, you don't know what other APs people are searching.
I propose there should be AP leagues, lets say (0-400), (400-800), (800+). In real terms, this wouldn't change anything, because 300s would still get matched with 300s. But figuratively, these number ranges would give something people to aim for, and help matchmaking feel a little more structured.
It would also make sense competitively. Strategy at 200AP is so different than 800AP level, so why should you compare these people in rankings, it would sort of be like comparing a boxer's win/loss record to a MMA fighter's record, but putting them on the same leaderboard. There should be separate leaderboards for each AP league. This is not to say that people at lower AP are worse strategists than 800AP, its just saying the diversity/metagame is different, and would actually give the opportunity for someone to show they are #1 player at both lower AP and highest AP.
That is my main feedback. here are some tiny suggestions/things I found in the game that were confusing:
-guardian of the runes, ability tooltip says its a she. i have nothing against that, there must be female wolfens too, but "she" has a beard!
- you should be able to rearranging units order in roster, you want to put bench units at the top that you can easily take off/on the team.
-the "surrounded" effect, where you get +3ACC when you surround an enemy and they get -3PAR? or something, that effect should be in the alterations I think, to make it more clear
