Question relating to information

Hello,

So I love the ability to build an army and customize it and use it based on AP (a value I presume is based on the projected value of the unit).

What I'd like to know is the actual stats and how they interact. I mean the basics I think I get, parry refers to ability to avoid damage from melee attacks? Dod from ranged.. But what I don't get is for instance Dam vs toughness. How does a 8 toughness vs a 9 toughness actually translate in damage calculations?

(that's just an example mind you)

Is this information available yet?

Column1 - Difference between DAM and TOU (DAM_of_attacker *minus* TOU_of_defender)
Column2 - Output damage in HP

-8 5
-7 5
-6 5
-5 6
-4 7
-3 7
-2 8
-1 9
0 9
1 10
2 11
3 12
4 13
5 14
6 15
7 16
8 17
9 19

So there is somekind of exponentional dependance. I could approximate, but had no need to.

Wow thanks! That was hugely helpful.

Umm one more quick question.

The stats for ranged units doesn't seem to take into account how they perform in melee, unless it's the same. Do archers dam stat remain unaffected by being engaged? And if not, how not?
