"SteamName:76561198006280782" has this issue.
I played with him, added as friend, talked in chat. Everywhere he has this name instead of actual steam name.
He is newbie (maybe he registered after new patch)

Hi,

yes I just noticed that Steam WebServices used to update your ingame nicknames now get much 404 errors...
I'm working on it, actually you could not have your updated nickname in game all the time :(

Your nickname should now be correctly updated at login :)
