Dogs of War Online

Hi everybody!

Last weeks included a weekend stress test and have been very successfull to track various issues : bugs, balance, ... Thanks for all the feedbacks regarding the beta, all the posts are read, altough the dev team doesn't have much time to answer.

We're currently working on the next patch due in few weeks, that will mark the end of the closed Beta, transitionning the game to Open Beta. In addition to the usual fixes and balancing adjustment, we plan to activate the shop. We're still investigating whether to reset parts of the database in order to prevent a fresh Open Beta start while previnting our early testers from grinding back their guild levels. Our next big focus will be the matchmaking issues that lead poor team composition, and we're still heavily monitoring injuries balance.

For the moment the focus is not on adding new armies but polishing the game mechanics, correcting bugs and balancing the 3 existing races.

New armies will come later

OMG I am so excited I cant hardly wait. I am a huge fan of table top games and I have been waiting for a game like this to come out for a long time now. I have not been able to participate in the closed beta but the videos I have seen show good promise.

I am actually very happy to hear this. I recently spent a lot of money on a free to play game called March of War and its so full of bugs but the devs just keep pushing new content and ignoring the bugs and they aren't simple bugs they are literally having pvp matches crash like every other match.

From what I have seen this game is nearly bug free. That is such a smart decision because it doesn't matter how good a game plays or looks if you cant actually play it because of constant crashes it loses its appeal.

But could you hint which races will be next - got my fingers crossed for Mid-Nor always liked them since I first saw the minis way back when, not that it matters until we get the open beta

I have no idea what the devs have in mind for that at the moment. They will let you know when the time comes.

I have seen some 3D models in our intern version that may point at something, but as said before, nothing is set in stone
