Russian speaking community and support of russian language.

As I see you don't underestimate russian speaking community (of which I am), so I'd like to ask few frequently asked questions that I'm being asked on russian speaking game resources and on my stream channel:

1. How soon can we expect russian language in-game overall (if ever be)?
2. Will you ever support russian language on forum, official wiki and other community services?

Thank you for answers in advance!

Hi,

The game now accept cyrilic alphabet for chating, and russian language should arrive in about 3 weeks from now.

As for russian support and forum, it's not a definitive no, but it is unlikely at this point. Guess we could translate the wiki at some point, we will see.

Just an idea I'm having, maybe we could have a russian section with fan moderators to help us, I'll propose that !

Truly we are pleased with the support of the russian community ;)

Thanks for your answer, Izno!

Yeah, I drew attention to the cyrillic nicknames and company names. Thank you for this allowance!
"3 weeks" - are really great news =)

As for russian section - it would be really nice to have it for us, russian speaking players, and for you as well, because of loyal community. I do may help at start, if needed, but not sure if I'll be able to manage it for long time.

I adore the initial stage of launching because it so easy to talk to community manager.
Maybe you can even reveal the date of next planned update?

P.S.
The only thing I'd highly request from producing team is to never divide servers for "eu" and "ru", selling rights to "ru" server to any of russian localization companies. I do hope we all will have great time playing Dogs of War regardless of whether you're a European, Russian, Korean or anyone else =)

No worries, I really doubt servers will ever be divided.

As for updates, they are quite frequent and usually Dev's tell us about one or two days ahead, making annoucements fairly useless. They work in a constant flow, and stuff is implemented when it's done.

From personnal experience, I'm not to keen with annoucing updates as they have a tendency to be delayed when you do so and then create some disapointment among the community.

On the other hand, players are always happy to see some improvements when they join (apart from the potential download time  )
