Hi,

we need some more details.
The client may not be fully aware of all rules which apply to compute hit chance.
Basically, the displayed rate is computed with your current location, although you move before attacking. If you move near units, surrounding rules apply, after your movement. To have a better idea, move, look at your actual chance, then attack.

is there any chance the attack was against a unit with the "Parry" attribute?

This has happened to me too, I've also been hit by "-5%" chance to hit disengaging strikes. The client doesn't take into account all factors, which it should. I believe that Fencer/Parry aren't taken into account and maybe even Fear too(?) - there's probably more.

this is the explanation. Always check the rolls and use a bit of common sense (ie: if the guy has parry it might be lower).

Fear modifies Stats so its calculated - but for this you must first engage - and then check %... its not exacly possible with charge ;)

It is probably related to a well-known client side issue.

Unfortunately, it needs some heavy changes in order to work the way that we want it to work.
We're working on it, but it will take a while.

In the meantime, I can assure you that rolls in the log (upper left section on the screen) never lie - as far as I know.
So if you want to know your "real" chance to hit, or the reason why you missed one hit, it should be in the log up there.
