[Video] Tips for playing Lion + video

Hi guyz, I'm Aisu, i was rank 1 and I want to share my video with you :

Tips :

Combo for 200 AP match, with a total of 200/200 for 3 characters :

- Lion Knight ( lvl 3 ) ( parry / taunt )
- Valkyrie ( lvl 2 ) ( 100% Accuaracy for an ally )
- Archer ( lvl 3 ) ( elusive / aiming )

If you don't have valkyrie and want to have a good starter, you can also try this one

- Lion Knight ( lvl 3 ) ( parry / taunt )
- Archer ( lvl 2 ) ( +3 constant damages )
- Archer ( lvl 3 ) ( elusive / aiming )

Some mechanics on the video :

- Use valkyria skill to allow archer to hit with 100% luck

- Always protect valkyria, hide her, and heal ally with her when needed

- If ennemy don't come near you, harass him with the combo valkyria / archer

- Use your Lion Guard to block ennemy that want to kill valkyria or archer, don't worry he is super strong to takes damages and deal a good amount of damages

- Use valkyria to support your Lion Guard when he is fighting, but always be safe

- Use your Lion Guard's Taunt to reduce damages and chance to hit on an ennemy who could hit your ally

- Use your racial skill ( +2 pre +2 par ) and defensive skill ( when needed ) on Lion Guard, don't forget to use them, it's important to take advantage.

- You usually use you attack order ( +1 attack ) on archer, or Lion Guard when you can actually kill an unit and then go for an another one.

- Don't be greedy with Valkyria !!!!!

Hmmm, it's actually upsetting to me that someone can top the ladder using just a 200 ap army gimmick. Not to water down what you accomplished but I feel like it takes less skill to win with 200 ap armies than with larger ones.

it only needs a little more luck that for 300-400 but its definitely not less tactical*.

The current problem with ranking is not 200 ap but lack of ELO while player having 400wins and 400 looses will be higher than one with 200:0.

I can assure you that you can see if enemy is really good even at 200. I see 3 types of players:
- that moves/attacks in right direction
- that makes good moves/attacks/positions
- that makes best moves/attacks/positions that i can understand, sometimes after a while but each move is optimal as much as possible.
- fortunately there are no players that can do things beyond my understanding

and Aisu is unfortunatly the 3rd type
same as Skydancer (at least he was when i last played with him and his necro team)

The only things i noticed from the video is "how to farm new player with a 200AP army".

Serious, the ennemy only have 164 AP !!

A regular free win without challenge, and he look happy to get it ...

No Ladder or Option to choose if you play in ranked or not will prolly kill this game, the 200-AP battle is the only one you can access when you start in this game and to meet a optimised 200AP army isnt fair.

BTW income should be increased/decreased if the ennemy have more/less AP than you.

I recorded that video in day 2 of beta, because someone asked me on the chat if i was streaming or making video to see how I play ( he wanted some tips to play as a lion ), I decided to record my next game ( this one ), not to show "how i farm new player" ( the game is still new, i am new too, didn't played during closed beta, but I tested a lot of things to finally come to this result ), but to show my mechanics as a Lion ( wo work pretty well i guess, I was 30V / 0D and faced top players, i faced the same formation as me / 3 garg / 200 AP wolf / top 10 players ... ) and actually i lost 2 games ( one because i missclicked on the wrong unity to attack, with offense posture, and the other he outplayed me ).

If i play 200 AP, it's because i don't have a good team / synergy with higher rank ( i need to think about some strategy and earn more kurcats to bought more units ), i don't want to play against legendary units and lose beacause i don't bought them.

Again, this video show some tips for beginners, that's all .

legendary units aren't that OP...maybe in the 300 AP bracket but you gotta consider it is always 2 units vs your 4-5. Anyway the combo you are using is indeed strong : during closed beta we always said that favorable auspices is way too OP and should just give a possibility to reroll your missed hit not to give 100% success chance.

but then it would be almost useless (but +8ACC for next test or something like that would be accebtable) ;P
especialy when aspects do the same and don't need a glass Valkyrie for that ;P

about Legendaries - Chimera got at least 3 major nerfs (two cost rises and SoV nerf) since 0.10 and now im not sure if she is even good

i tested this today

1x mage lvl 2 with (seal of dollare)
3x sparklings lvl 2 (parry)
1x valkyre lvl 1

y put heal and seal on sparkling and he fly with ofensive order (kamikaze) into enemy team on next turn he coming back almost death and y send 2nd

first i think that this will be stupid trolling but no one donno what happend when y hit on 1 sparling with ofensive order 8+8+9 dmg on 1 enemy
enemy stop atack and simply starting run and writing on chat that this is OP **** and game is unbalanced

and its 2 type of bomb its long range bomb y send sparlings with def order on 2x move its weaker but after first 2 nukes no one want to be close to sparling with red mark

if enemy dont start to run y can simply us 1 sparling to regen +2mana
and mage can send 2 sparling for def in 1 round + valkyre

Yea, i saw this with my units, i was able to save valkyria + knight in extremis, but archer finally dead. It finished as a draw, only his mage was alive, my valkyria was like 1 hp and knight 20 hp. It wasn't bad at all, i should try this one day.
