This is the kind of game where percentages and vague graphical indicators aren't really enough. If we only get 30 or so seconds to make our move we need some more information at hand.
Stuff I've noticed you aren't informed of:
Damage bonuses and penalties. Hard-boiled, accuracy, and the like aren't reflected on the health bar damage preview. Really the preview is useless, it's too small to make any kind of acceptably accurate judgment about how much damage you're going to do. I've lost games because the bar can't distinguish between an attack that leaves the enemy dead and one that leaves him with 1hp.
Any kind of future percentages. I can't know what the odds are of disengaging until I move my mouse, if I move an archer I pretty much have to just pray I don't tank his hit chance, none of that is displayed. No information on how any of this is calculated is displayed, as far as I can tell.
There's probably more I can't think of. Quests don't show you how success chances are derived, for one.
This isn't the kind of game where I can just wing it and hope for the best. I need to know what's going to happen before I do something, especially if I only get 30 seconds to make a move before I lose a turn and one of my units. I'd never play tabletop fast and loose like that, I don't want to play online like that either.
Surely I'm not the only one getting burned by the lack of transparency in the game's math.
