Insane Lag and Heat

I recently downloaded the open beta, but I am experiencing super lag issues. The graphics settings are at their lowest, none of the extra boxes are checked, and I'm at 1360x768. I have an AMD Radeon HD 7970M, which isn't the newest card in the world, but I don't think it should be having these issues. The game hasn't crashed on me or anything, but the insane lag and heating of my CPU is very concerning.

you talking about heating of GPU then play in window, and make your FAN on GPU moves faster. Game is about to use engine of Aarklash: Legacy so in both games i've got 90C on my HD 7800, after 2h in "Dogs" and very fast in demo Aarklash: Legacy

I changed it to windowed mode at 800x600 and it helped a bit. Still a bit disappointing though, the game looks really nice in full screen.
